On June 6, Mazu cultural groups such as the Tianhou Ancestral Temple at Updun, Baishahu, Honghai Bay, Shanwei, Guangdong; the Mazu Pavilion of Sansi, Pingtan, Fuzhou; and the Guanyin Hall in Wenxi Village, Peifeng Town, Yongding District, Longyan organized pilgrimage groups to travel to Meizhou Mazu Temple to pay homage and offer incense.
