Morning Devotion to Mazu and Prayer Recitation

The "Morning Worship for Mazu and Chanting for Blessings" ceremony is a solemn daily ritual held at the Meizhou Mazu Ancestral Temple. Rooted in ancient rites, it extends the traditional practice of new-moon incense and scripture chanting, guiding devotees through purification, offering, and recitation before dawn.
To keep the ceremony orderly and reverent, the temple has maintained an appointment and verification process since September 1, 2022. Registered participants arrive early, receive blessing cards, don ceremonial sashes with staff assistance, and then proceed to the designated worship area in Tianhou Hall.
